As you walk up to the Retreat, you step into a courtyard, complete with a lawn area for playing croquet or bocce ball. A bench beckons under a shaded tree. Other trellises form archways with flagstone paths leading off to the meadow.
Walking up the front steps, you enter an expansive 38 foot by 8 foot covered porch, framed by the D-log exterior walls of the cabin and rough-hewn cedar posts and rails.
Enjoy a morning hot-tub soak, followed by a leisurely outdoor breakfast. Rockers provide a viewing spot of the sun-dappled treetops high above you.
Inside, the cabin has pine and cedar shiplap walls throughout. The ceiling is covered in galvanized tin, providing a subtle reflection of the room below.
Big windows give the living room an open, airy feel. A convertable sleeper sofa allows additional sleeping for two. A smart TV with Satellite allows for group viewing of movies.
The well-stocked galley kitchen has a full sized stove, full sized refrigerator, and double sink. Breakfast items are supplied, so that you can make and enjoy breakfast at your leisure.
The bedroom has a king sized bed, and a TV/DVD player for watching movies at night. A selection of DVD’s is provided.
The bathroom contains a sink, a shower, and ample storage.
