     Tucked away in the eastern section of our woods, the Homestead Cabin is a private retreat oasis.

     The Homestead Cabin is an original 1850’s hand-hewn log cabin, lovingly restored for your enjoyment.   Doors, trim, cabinetry and railings were made with wood that was original to the cabin.  The cabin has a large front porch that faces a grove of Live Oak trees and the rolling hills beyond.  The porch swing is great for relaxing the afternoon away.   The four-person hot-tub is a great place to watch the sunset.   An outdoor picnic table makes for a relaxed lunch.  A fully functional kitchen is provided with refrigerator, stove, microwave, and garbage disposal.

Bring your own groceries and say goodbye to civilization!  The dining nook has a big table by two windows.  Enjoy the scenery as you dine.  The bedroom area has a comfortable king-sized bed.  A roomy bathroom with a giant shower provides all the creature comforts of a great hotel.  The second floor loft provides a light, airy place to hang out.  A comfy daybed/sofa and rocking chair offer great relaxing and napping opportunities.  A table and chairs provide an alternate breakfast nook or a family game table.  Bring your own DVDs and watch them on the 65" Smart TV.  The daybed has a trundle, which allows this space to be transformed into a second bedroom with two twin beds.  ​Both walls of the second floor loft have big picture windows that bring the outside in.
