The rolling hills offer scenic views of the vineyard and ranch and a peaceful setting for your enjoyment. Directions: Take 290 West towards Austin. Right before you hit Burton(about 8 miles west of Brenham), turn Right on FM 1948. Drive one mile North on FM 1948. The entrance is on the right. |

They also have wine-tastings. Directions: From Saddlehorn Winery, go back east on 290 for 17 miles until you come to the Chappell Hill Intersection. Turn Left on FM 1155 and drive north into Chappell Hill. Turn Left on FM 2447, the main intersection in Chappell Hill. Drive 0.2 miles west and turn right onto Old Chappell Hill Rd. Drive north 0.5 miles. The winery is to your right. |

10827 Hwy 36, Bellville (979) 865-5827 Hours: Thurs-Sat:4-10PM This is well worth the visit. They are located just south of Bellville on Hwy 36. They have a very nice indoor-outdoor wine-tasting facility, and large selection of wines to choose from. Their back deck has a fireplace and expansive views. Call for information on weekend events, food and live music. Directions: Drive back to 290, and TX 36. Head South on TX 36 to Bellville – 16 miles. Drive through Bellville, staying on Hwy 36. You will circle around the Bellville town square. 6 Blocks from the Town Square, TX 36 takes a Right at S. Front St. Follow TX 36 South for 3.5 miles. Buffalo Creek Winery will be to your right. |
